Core temperature checks in compost, soft soils and agricultural windrows are easier when the probe and display work as one practical field instrument. This one-hand insertion thermometer combines a compact handheld display with a long stainless-steel probe for direct measurements in bulk material and soft ground.
The Pt1000 sensor covers -70.0 ... +250.0 °C, with accuracy of ±0.1 K ±1 digit from -20 ... +100 °C. The Ø8 mm, 920 mm stainless-steel probe reaches deep into the material, while the optimized measuring tip balances fast response with robustness for demanding insertion tasks.
A 3-line backlit display, hold function, min/max memory and adjustable alarm help users read and track values on site. IP54 protection, impact-resistant ABS housing and approx. 5000 h typical battery life with 2 x AA alkaline batteries support regular use in agricultural and compost applications.
The instrument combines display and probe in one fixed unit for insertion measurements in soft soils, compost, agricultural windrows and bulk material.
The measuring tip is designed as a compromise between measurement speed and mechanical robustness.
The device includes an adjustable alarm function with optical and acoustic signaling.
Hold freezes the displayed value during operation. Min/max memory records the minimum and maximum measured values.
